Craft & Crop Weekend for UCP

National Scrapbooking day is fast approaching and it is fun to celebrate a day for something many of us love! Join us for a craft weekend April 24-26 in downtown Huntsville. Whether you scrapbook, sew or paper craft--the choice is yours.

Cost is $50 for the full three days, or $20 per day! There will be games, prizes, and lots of fun. 

A portion of your entry fee goes to benefit the Early Intervention program at the UCP Therapy Center of Huntsville (

Young Adult Connections

Connections meets May 13

UCP of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley, Inc. invites young adults (ages 18 and older) to join Marilyn Lands, Licensed Professional Counselor, on the second Tuesday of each month, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., for the Young Adults Connections Group.

Topics for discussion include:

  • Stress Management
  • Job Readiness Skills
  • Job Placement Resources
  • Communication Skills
  • Managing Emotions
  • Dealing with Grief
  • Self-Esteem
  • *Ideas from the Group are Welcome

A light lunch is served and a drawing for prizes, including gift certificates for local shopping, is held.

Join us for camaraderie, sharing, guest speakers and stories.

The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at the UCP Technology & Training Center, located at 1856 Keats Drive NW, Huntsville, 35810.
