UCP of Greater Birmingham and UCP of Huntsville partner to bring Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic to Huntsville

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Greater Birmingham is pleased to announce that the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation program is currently holding a clinic in Huntsville bi-monthly in collaboration with UCP of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley, Inc. 

The program, directed by physiatrist Dr. Charlie Law, offers a variety of specialized services focused on providing comprehensive and coordinated care that reduces the symptoms caused by motor disabilities. Dr. Law is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation for both adults and children and is one of only two physicians in the state certified in pediatric rehabilitation. Dr. Law has more than 20 years experience providing medical care for children and adults with special needs.

Physical medicine improves the health and function of people with disabilities through many avenues and reduces the symptoms caused by the disabilities.

Some of the services offered by the PMR clinic include evaluation and diagnosis of physical and neuro-motor issues, pain management, spasticity management, orthotics and prosthetics, and coordinated medical care with other physicians, therapists, educators and healthcare professionals.
